This artwork by François Avril achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in November last year. In the Sale to Benefit Écoles du Monde auction, the work A Bright New Day - 2021 sold for EUR 2,500 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,001. Admittedly, works by François Avril have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 16,250.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von François Avril erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Sale to Benefit Écoles du Monde wurde die Arbeit A Bright New Day - 2021 für EUR 2.500 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.001. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von François Avril auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.250.
