Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Welcome to Vietnam by Franco Angeli was sold in the Contemporary Art | Milan auction at Sothebys in Milan in May 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 37,800.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Franco Angeli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fiore Partigiano (Partisan Flower) in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 181,250.00 (€ 206,660.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Welcome to Vietnam von Franco Angeli wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Milan bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 37.800,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franco Angeli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fiore Partigiano (Partisan Flower) im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 181.250,00 (€ 206.660,48).
