This artwork by Franck Scurti achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in November 2016. In the Michel Fedoroff Collection auction, the work Bonneteau, Le Figaro Economie Du Vendredi 19 Juin - 1998 sold for EUR 6,240.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franck Scurti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work What Is Public Sculpture?, 2006, which sold at auction in October 2013 for EUR 20,784.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Franck Scurti erzielte im November 2016 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Michel Fedoroff Collection wurde die Arbeit Bonneteau, Le Figaro Economie Du Vendredi 19 Juin - 1998 für EUR 6.240,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Franck Scurti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit What Is Public Sculpture?, 2006 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für EUR 20.784,00 versteigert wurde.
