In April 2015 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Moderna, which included the work Geometric composition by Franciska Clausen. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 44,000.00 (€ 4,702.74), 47% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Franciska Clausen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Éléments mécaniques" in October 2012 with an auction result of SEK 305,000.00 (€ 35,471.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 47 % übertroffen
Im April 2015 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Moderna durch, in der auch die Arbeit Geometric composition von Franciska Clausen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 44.000,00 (€ 4.702,74) und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franciska Clausen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Éléments mécaniques" im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 305.000,00 (€ 35.471,14).
