Sold at the upper estimate price
The work "Circle et carré" by Franciska Clausen was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2021. The auction ended at the price of SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,852.75), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 50,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Franciska Clausen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Éléments mécaniques" in October 2012 with an auction result of SEK 305,000.00 (€ 35,471.14).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit "Circle et carré" von Franciska Clausen wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.852,75) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franciska Clausen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Éléments mécaniques" im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 305.000,00 (€ 35.471,14).
