In the Victorian & British Impressionist Art auction, the work King Peter of Serbia retreating across the Albanian Mountains, 1915 sold for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,970.38) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Frank Owen Salisbury have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Sen Sisters in September 2005 with an auction result of GBP 96,000.00 (€ 140,887.05).
