Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Gathering mistletoe by Francis Montague Holl was sold in the British, Continental & Russian Pictures auction at Christies in London in March 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 660.00 (€ 971.44). Admittedly, works by Francis Montague Holl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Die junge Mutter. in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 5,160.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Gathering mistletoe von Francis Montague Holl wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 660,00 (€ 971,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francis Montague Holl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Die junge Mutter. im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.160,00.
