Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2004 Christies in London held the auction Maritime Pictures, which included the work The full-rigged ship Duisburg flying her number at sea by Francis Hustwick. The price achieved of GBP 2,868.00 (€ 4,303.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Other works by Francis Hustwick have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2007 the work The Duisberg calling for a pilot in coastal waters was auctioned for USD 9,000.00 (€ 6,924.14).

Im Mai 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion Maritime Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The full-rigged ship Duisburg flying her number at sea von Francis Hustwick zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.868,00 (€ 4.303,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Francis Hustwick konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Januar 2007 die Arbeit The Duisberg calling for a pilot in coastal waters für USD 9.000,00 (€ 6.924,14) versteigert.
