In December 2007 Sothebys in Milan held the auction 19th Century Paintings and Sculptures, which included the work Conversazioni In Giardino by Francesco Peluso. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,250.00 68% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Francesco Peluso; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Italian An Algerian Caravan At Rest sold at auction in April 2008 with the realized price of USD 23,750.00 (€ 15,255.65).

Im Dezember 2007 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Conversazioni In Giardino von Francesco Peluso zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.250,00 und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Francesco Peluso; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Italian An Algerian Caravan At Rest im April 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 15.255,65).
