In November 2010 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Old Master Paintings, 19th Century Paintings, Furniture, Works of Art and Rare Books, which included the work Processione by Francesco Paolo Michetti. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 54,750.00 37% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Paolo Michetti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bimba Al Sole (1870-1875), which sold at auction in June 2001 for EUR 147,000.00.

Im November 2010 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Old Master Paintings, 19th Century Paintings, Furniture, Works of Art and Rare Books durch, in der auch die Arbeit Processione von Francesco Paolo Michetti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 54.750,00 und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Francesco Paolo Michetti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bimba Al Sole (1870-1875) beobachtet, die im Juni 2001 für EUR 147.000,00 versteigert wurde.
