Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Francesco Noletti achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in June 2021. In the Tableaux Dessins Sculptures 1300-1900, Session I auction, the work Still life with a boar sold for EUR 126,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 50,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Francesco Noletti; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Still Life Of Pomegranates, Peaches, Apples And Other Fruit Displayed On A Draped Carpet sold at auction in November 2015 with the realized price of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 133,532.95).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Francesco Noletti erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Tableaux Dessins Sculptures 1300-1900, Session I wurde die Arbeit Still life with a boar für EUR 126.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 50.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Francesco Noletti; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Still Life Of Pomegranates, Peaches, Apples And Other Fruit Displayed On A Draped Carpet im November 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 133.532,95).
