In October 2007 Christies in New York held the auction The House Sale, which included the work A battle skirmish by Francesco Monti. The »bidding war« ended at USD 18,750.00 (€ 12,959.64), 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Monti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Achille Trascina Il Corpo Di Ettore, which sold at auction in November 2010 for EUR 34,350.00.

Im Oktober 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The House Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A battle skirmish von Francesco Monti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 12.959,64) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Francesco Monti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Achille Trascina Il Corpo Di Ettore beobachtet, die im November 2010 für EUR 34.350,00 versteigert wurde.
