Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Francesco Modena could be acquired at Il Ponte in May 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Eva changed hands for EUR 1,200.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francesco Modena have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Salomè in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 5,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Francesco Modena konnte im Mai 2017 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures wechselte die Arbeit Eva für EUR 1.200,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco Modena auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Salomè im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.000,00.
