A top price for Francesco Maglioli - as previously expected
The work Belshazzar's Feast by Francesco Maglioli was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2002. The price achieved of GBP 35,850.00 (€ 57,182.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Belshazzar's Feast is the most expensive artwork by Francesco Maglioli that we have observed at auctions so far.
