Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Christies in London held the auction Discovering Old Masters: The Legacy of Piero Corsini, which included the work A Coastal Landscape At Sunset With Fisherfolk By The Shore by Francesco Fidanza. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,274.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francesco Fidanza have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Winter Landscape With Travelers On A Snowy Path in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 31,250.00 (€ 27,679.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Discovering Old Masters: The Legacy of Piero Corsini durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Coastal Landscape At Sunset With Fisherfolk By The Shore von Francesco Fidanza zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.274,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco Fidanza auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Winter Landscape With Travelers On A Snowy Path im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 27.679,36).
