Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Vases with flowers by Francesco della Questa was auctioned at Il Ponte in October this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 9,000.00 – 10,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francesco della Questa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Natura morta di frutta con uva e melograni in November 2008 with an auction result of EUR 33,560.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Vases with flowers von Francesco della Questa im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 9.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 8.000,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco della Questa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Natura morta di frutta con uva e melograni im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 33.560,00.
