Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Un Ange Et La Madeleine Au Pied De La Croix by Francesco Bertos was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 22,100.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Bertos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Neptune And Amphitrite, which sold at auction in December 2017 for GBP 52,500.00 (€ 59,081.06).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 22.100,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
