Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2021 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours including a Fine Collection of Old Master Prints, which included the work Hebe by Francesco Bartolozzi. The price achieved of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,052.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francesco Bartolozzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Pair Of Drawings: Zepherus And Flora And Boreas And Oreithyia in January 2010 with an auction result of USD 13,750.00 (€ 9,913.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours including a Fine Collection of Old Master Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hebe von Francesco Bartolozzi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 2.052,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco Bartolozzi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Pair Of Drawings: Zepherus And Flora And Boreas And Oreithyia im Januar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 9.913,48).
