In June this year Il Ponte held the auction 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures, which included the work Paesaggio autunnale by Francesco Arata. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,500.00 67% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Francesco Arata; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Composizione con frutta e bottiglie sold at auction in December 2021 with the realized price of EUR 2,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paesaggio autunnale von Francesco Arata zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.500,00 und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Francesco Arata; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Composizione con frutta e bottiglie im Dezember 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 2.000,00.
