In December 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Etude De Draperie, Figure Tournée Vers La Gauche by Francesco Allegrini for EUR 176.25. This price was achieved in the auction TABLEAUX, MOBILIER ET OBJETS D'ART at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Allegrini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christ In Glory With Angels And A Saint Kneeling In Adoration in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 13,750.00 (€ 9,264.87).
