In July 2015 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work Battle scene by Francesco Allegrini. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 7,088.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Francesco Allegrini have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2008 the work Christ In Glory With Angels And A Saint Kneeling In Adoration was auctioned for USD 13,750.00 (€ 9,264.87).
