This artwork by Fouad Bellamine achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in April 2013. In the “Cent Briques pour Madagascar 2” Sale benefiting to Ecoles du Monde auction, the work Une Brique À La Mer sold for EUR 950.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 501.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fouad Bellamine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 33,600.00 (€ 26,182.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 90 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fouad Bellamine erzielte im April 2013 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion “Cent Briques pour Madagascar 2” Sale benefiting to Ecoles du Monde wurde die Arbeit Une Brique À La Mer für EUR 950,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 501,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fouad Bellamine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 33.600,00 (€ 26.182,50).
