Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Idea di un nuovo autoritratto by Fortunato Depero was worth EUR 7,000.00 to a buyer in May last year. This price was achieved in the auction Arte moderna e contemporanea at Il Ponte and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fortunato Depero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ballerina in November last year with an auction result of EUR 200,000.00.

Die Arbeit Idea di un nuovo autoritratto von Fortunato Depero war einem Käufer im Mai letzten Jahres EUR 7.000,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea bei Il Ponte erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fortunato Depero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ballerina im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 200.000,00.
