Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2010 Christies in Milan held the auction Contemporary and Modern Art, which included the work Grattacieli e tunnel by Fortunato Depero. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 99,080.00 24% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fortunato Depero - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ballerina, which sold at auction in November last year for EUR 200,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2010 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grattacieli e tunnel von Fortunato Depero zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 99.080,00 und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Fortunato Depero mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ballerina beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für EUR 200.000,00 versteigert wurde.
