Artwork auctioned at six times the upper estimate price

This price was achieved in the auction “Cent Briques pour Madagascar” Sale Benefiting to Association Ecoles du Monde at Artcurial in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 501.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by FKDL; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Barbara Stanwyck 1955 - Gerard Philippe 1954 - Marilyn Monroe 1952 - 2014 sold at auction in June 2015 with the realized price of EUR 5,000.00.
