Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pissing Boy 1 by Firat Neziroglu was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2010. It achieved a price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,027.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Firat Neziroglu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Praise To Pelops, which sold at auction in October 2012 for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,646.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pissing Boy 1 von Firat Neziroglu kam im April 2010 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.027,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Firat Neziroglu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Praise To Pelops beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.646,55) versteigert wurde.
