Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pair of easy chairs, model no. FJ 53 by Finn Juhl was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in December 2020. The price achieved of HKD 214,200.00 (€ 22,593.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Finn Juhl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Early and rare 'Chieftain' armchair, model no. FJ 49 A in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,937,500.00 (€ 236,097.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pair of easy chairs, model no. FJ 53 von Finn Juhl kam im Dezember 2020 bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 214.200,00 (€ 22.593,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Finn Juhl erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Early and rare 'Chieftain' armchair, model no. FJ 49 A im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.937.500,00 (€ 236.097,32).
