Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Lounge Chair, Model No. Nv45 Nv45椅 by Finn Juhl. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 126,000.00 (€ 13,490.27). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Finn Juhl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Early and rare 'Chieftain' armchair, model no. FJ 49 A in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,937,500.00 (€ 236,097.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lounge Chair, Model No. Nv45 Nv45椅 von Finn Juhl zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 126.000,00 (€ 13.490,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Finn Juhl erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Early and rare 'Chieftain' armchair, model no. FJ 49 A im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.937.500,00 (€ 236.097,32).
