Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Judas Dining Table by Finn Juhl was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2020. The price achieved of HKD 226,800.00 (€ 25,119.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Finn Juhl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Early and rare 'Chieftain' armchair, model no. FJ 49 A in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,937,500.00 (€ 236,097.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Judas Dining Table von Finn Juhl wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 226.800,00 (€ 25.119,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Finn Juhl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Early and rare 'Chieftain' armchair, model no. FJ 49 A im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.937.500,00 (€ 236.097,32).
