Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction From Taddeo to Tiepolo: The Dr. John O’Brien Collection of Old Master Drawings, which included the work The Apotheosis of Hercules by Filippo Pedrini. The price achieved of USD 3,528.00 (€ 2,907.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Filippo Pedrini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Allegory Of Virtue Triumphing Over Vice in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,425.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion From Taddeo to Tiepolo: The Dr. John O’Brien Collection of Old Master Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Apotheosis of Hercules von Filippo Pedrini zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.528,00 (€ 2.907,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Filippo Pedrini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Allegory Of Virtue Triumphing Over Vice im Juli 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.425,14).
