Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings Part II, which included the work The Ecstasy of Saint Francis by Filippo Lauri. The »bidding war« ended at USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,027.82), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Filippo Lauri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bacchanale Avec Offrande À La Statue Du Dieu Pan in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 72,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Important Old Master Paintings Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Ecstasy of Saint Francis von Filippo Lauri zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 9.600,00 (€ 7.027,82) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Filippo Lauri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bacchanale Avec Offrande À La Statue Du Dieu Pan im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 72.000,00.
