Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Veduta Di Assisi by Ferruccio Scattola was auctioned at Christies in Rome in November 2004, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,300.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 992.00. Other works by Ferruccio Scattola have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2004 by the work Tramonto Ad Assisi at EUR 1,178.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Veduta Di Assisi von Ferruccio Scattola im November 2004 bei Christies in Rom versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.300,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 992,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Ferruccio Scattola wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2004 die Arbeit Tramonto Ad Assisi mit EUR 1.178,00.
