In November 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Duino by Fernando de Szyszlo. The »bidding war« ended at USD 137,500.00 (€ 121,434.25), 72% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Fernando de Szyszlo; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Paclla Pampa (Campo Desolado) sold at auction in May 2011 with the realized price of USD 182,500.00 (€ 126,947.69).

Im November 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Duino von Fernando de Szyszlo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 137.500,00 (€ 121.434,25) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Fernando de Szyszlo; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Paclla Pampa (Campo Desolado) im Mai 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 182.500,00 (€ 126.947,69).
