Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition, 2009 by Fernando Costa was sold in the Sale Benefiting to “Ecoles de l’Espoir” auction at Artcurial in Paris in December 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,275.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fernando Costa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstraction 2 Pour Ferdinand Posche - 2020 in April 2021 with an auction result of EUR 14,300.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition, 2009 von Fernando Costa wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion Sale Benefiting to “Ecoles de l’Espoir” bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.275,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fernando Costa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstraction 2 Pour Ferdinand Posche - 2020 im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.300,00.
