Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Céline/Döblin/Arlt by Fernando Bryce was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2013. The price achieved of USD 20,000.00 (€ 15,398.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fernando Bryce - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Visión de la pintura occidental (View of Western Painting), which sold at auction in February 2011 for GBP 46,850.00 (€ 55,185.38).

Die Arbeit Céline/Döblin/Arlt von Fernando Bryce wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 15.398,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Fernando Bryce mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Visión de la pintura occidental (View of Western Painting) beobachtet, die im Februar 2011 für GBP 46.850,00 (€ 55.185,38) versteigert wurde.
