Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life With Apricots by Fernand Renard was auctioned at Christies in New York in December 2003. The price achieved of USD 1,792.50 (€ 1,422.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fernand Renard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nature Morte Aux Pêches, which sold at auction in October 2012 for EUR 5,250.00.

Die Arbeit Still Life With Apricots von Fernand Renard kam im Dezember 2003 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.792,50 (€ 1.422,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Fernand Renard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nature Morte Aux Pêches beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für EUR 5.250,00 versteigert wurde.
