Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rabat, Vue De Wilaya by Fernand Lantoine was sold in the Orientalism auction at Artcurial in May 2014. It changed hands for a price of EUR 8,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fernand Lantoine have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marrakech in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 35,723.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rabat, Vue De Wilaya von Fernand Lantoine wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Orientalism bei Artcurial versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 8.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fernand Lantoine auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marrakech im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.723,00.
