Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Fereydoon Omidi was sold in the Iranian and Arab Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in October 2009. The price achieved of EUR 3,825.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,500.00 – 4,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fereydoon Omidi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans titre, which sold at auction in November 2011 for EUR 8,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Fereydoon Omidi wurde im Oktober 2009 in der Auktion Iranian and Arab Modern and Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.825,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.500,00 – 4.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Fereydoon Omidi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans titre beobachtet, die im November 2011 für EUR 8.750,00 versteigert wurde.
