In May 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Hungarian a Caravan Outside Of A Mosque by Ferencz Eisenhut. The result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,942.07) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ferencz Eisenhut have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hungarian by The City Gate in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 185,000.00 (€ 254,047.66).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hungarian a Caravan Outside Of A Mosque von Ferencz Eisenhut zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 26.942,07) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ferencz Eisenhut auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hungarian by The City Gate im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 185.000,00 (€ 254.047,66).
