Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work A River Landscape by Ferdinand Hendrik Sijpkens for EUR 625.00. This price was achieved in the auction The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part II. Dutch and Flemish Drawings from 1500-1900 at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ferdinand Hendrik Sijpkens - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Summer landscape with travellers on a country road, which sold at auction in March 2011 for EUR 2,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A River Landscape von Ferdinand Hendrik Sijpkens für EUR 625,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part II. Dutch and Flemish Drawings from 1500-1900 bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ferdinand Hendrik Sijpkens mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Summer landscape with travellers on a country road beobachtet, die im März 2011 für EUR 2.250,00 versteigert wurde.
