Despite a disappointment, a good price for Ferdinand Bourjot
When the work Fête Militaire Au Champs-De-Mars, 30 Verdémiaire An Iii (Soit 21 Octobre 1794) by Ferdinand Bourjot was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 2,750.00. Despite this disappointing result, Fête Militaire Au Champs-De-Mars, 30 Verdémiaire An Iii (Soit 21 Octobre 1794) is the most expensive artwork by Ferdinand Bourjot that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit Fête Militaire Au Champs-De-Mars, 30 Verdémiaire An Iii (Soit 21 Octobre 1794) von Ferdinand Bourjot im Juni 2014 bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
