Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Coastal View From South. by Ferdinand Bonheur was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in December 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 600.00. Admittedly, works by Ferdinand Bonheur have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mosquée Près D'Un Portferdinand Bonheur ; Mosque Near A Port ; Signed Lower Left ; Oil On Panel in October 2012 with an auction result of EUR 3,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Coastal View From South. von Ferdinand Bonheur im Dezember 2012 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 600,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ferdinand Bonheur auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mosquée Près D'Un Portferdinand Bonheur ; Mosque Near A Port ; Signed Lower Left ; Oil On Panel im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.125,00.
