This artwork by Fenx achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2012. In the Street Art “Paint B.A.L.” Sale Benefiting to Musée en Herbe auction, the work Boîte Aux Lettres sold for EUR 1,800.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,001.00. Admittedly, works by Fenx have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work All I Do Is Thinking About Him, 2011 in February 2012 with an auction result of EUR 16,576.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fenx erzielte im März 2012 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Street Art “Paint B.A.L.” Sale Benefiting to Musée en Herbe wurde die Arbeit Boîte Aux Lettres für EUR 1.800,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.001,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fenx auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit All I Do Is Thinking About Him, 2011 im Februar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.576,00.
