Upper estimate price exceeded by 44%
The work Boating by Misty Mountains by Feng Chaoran was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April this year. It achieved a price of HKD 100,800 (€ 12,187), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Chaoran achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in October 2010 with an auction result of HKD 3,740,000 (€ 347,243).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44% übertroffen
Die Arbeit Boating by Misty Mountains von Feng Chaoran kam im April diesen Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 100.800 (€ 12.187) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Chaoran erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.740.000 (€ 347.243).
