Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les jardins français by Félix Ziem was auctioned at Christies in New York in April last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 13,860.00 (€ 13,153.65) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Félix Ziem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bateau pavoisé lors de la fête de l’Assomption in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 191,000.00 (€ 213,126.67).

Die Arbeit Les jardins français von Félix Ziem kam im April letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 13.860,00 (€ 13.153,65) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Félix Ziem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bateau pavoisé lors de la fête de l’Assomption im Juli 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 191.000,00 (€ 213.126,67).
