Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Félix Ziem could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The European Art Sale auction, the work Intérieur d'un jardin à Venise changed hands for USD 9,450.00 (€ 8,180.40) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Félix Ziem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bateau pavoisé lors de la fête de l’Assomption in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 191,000.00 (€ 213,126.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Félix Ziem konnte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The European Art Sale wechselte die Arbeit Intérieur d'un jardin à Venise für USD 9.450,00 (€ 8.180,40) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Félix Ziem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bateau pavoisé lors de la fête de l’Assomption im Juli 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 191.000,00 (€ 213.126,67).
