Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tiny Dancer by Felix Treadwell was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in October this year. The price achieved of HKD 156,000.00 (€ 18,865.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Felix Treadwell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work London Girl, which sold at auction in October this year for HKD 406,400.00 (€ 49,146.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tiny Dancer von Felix Treadwell kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 156.000,00 (€ 18.865,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Felix Treadwell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit London Girl beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für HKD 406.400,00 (€ 49.146,40) versteigert wurde.
