Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Felix Schlesinger could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in February 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction, the work German a Shared Meal changed hands for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,118.34) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Felix Schlesinger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bei der Pflaumenernte. in March 2008 with an auction result of CHF 60,000.00 (€ 38,262.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Felix Schlesinger konnte im Februar 2018 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art wechselte die Arbeit German a Shared Meal für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.118,34) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Felix Schlesinger auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bei der Pflaumenernte. im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 60.000,00 (€ 38.262,58).
