Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Feeding the Bunnies by Felix Schlesinger was sold in the The European Art Sale Part II auction at Sothebys in New York in January last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 5,670.00 (€ 5,057.08) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Felix Schlesinger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bei der Pflaumenernte. in March 2008 with an auction result of CHF 60,000.00 (€ 38,262.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Feeding the Bunnies von Felix Schlesinger wurde im Januar letzten Jahres in der Auktion The European Art Sale Part II bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 5.670,00 (€ 5.057,08) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Felix Schlesinger auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bei der Pflaumenernte. im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 60.000,00 (€ 38.262,58).
