Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2016 Artcurial held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures, Frames, which included the work Allégorie De La Musique, Projet De Décor by Félix-Joseph Barrias. The price achieved of EUR 520.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Félix-Joseph Barrias achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eve in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 5,062.00 (€ 5,875.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2016 führte Artcurial die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures, Frames durch, in der auch die Arbeit Allégorie De La Musique, Projet De Décor von Félix-Joseph Barrias zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 520,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Félix-Joseph Barrias erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eve im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.062,00 (€ 5.875,31).
